Mr. Gal Borenstein, our Head Digital Strategologist, has more than 22 years of experience in marketing, public relations, and strategic planning. He founded Borenstein Group in 1994 with the mission of creating a marketing services agency that fuses strong creativity with metric-driven strategy to better serve the needs of Business-to-Business and Business-to-Government organizations and companies.

Mr. Borenstein has earned his Bachelor’s degree in Communications from Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and his Master’s degree with honors in Business and Telecommunications Management from George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia.

His work includes creative concept development, copywriting, video production, case studies, SEO/SEM campaigns and web analytics. In addition, Brian leads the web development team in delivering stunning websites on WordPress and Drupal platforms. Before joining The Borenstein Group, Brian managed content development for global ecommerce sites, and lead in-house creative teams in developing high-impact B2B and B2C marketing materials. Ultimately, he takes pride in shaping brands through the delicate balance of emotion and information. Brian holds a Bachelor’s of Arts in Liberal Arts from St. John’s College where he studied Philosophy, Literature, Mathematics and Geocentric Astronomy. In addition, he is an accomplished musician, and performs regularly throughout the region.
Mr. Joe DePalma, Borenstein Group’s Creative Webologist, has over a decade of proven experience in successfully developing and producing progressive B2B and B2G integrated marketing brands for a wide number of professional, technology, and commercial organizations. Joe possesses the innate ability to create intelligent design solutions for clients that have high business impact and are persuasively compelling.

As Borenstein’s Group Creative Director, Mr. DePalma passionately steers the stylistic direction for the company’s full-service digital marketing efforts from web site UI and UX design to multimedia presentations and mobile apps. He is also responsible for orchestrating the day-to-day activities of the creative department talent from conceptual design to tactical execution. From concept to launch, Borenstein Group clients benefit from Mr. DePalma’s ability to fulfill business objectives through integrated creative strategy for both traditional and digital mediums. His experience encompasses the broad spectrum of marketing media support. A strong advocate for effective visualization and the use of design to convey brand, Mr. DePalma is committed to the best that cutting-edge creative has to offer.
A graduate of the acclaimed Savannah College of Art and Design, and one of the six people that actually grew up in the Northern Virginia, Joe leverages a unique understanding for both marketing and user experience that has helped take his designs to the next level. Joe further understands the importance of mobile / responsive design and using the latest development tools to design and implement these to add to a user’s experience. Though Joe has a true eye for design, his true passion is helping clients realize their ideas and goals through design. He loves the idea that he can help grow a client’s business. But his most creative production, undoubtedly, which Joe proudly touts, is his beautiful baby girl whom requires more attention and creative briefs than any single project thus far.
Mr. Corey Jones is an accomplished Art Director and Creative Digitologist whose experience in advertising and branding creative transcends print to include web design and development, interactive, mobile app development, content management and digital animation. Mr. Jones serves as Creative Chair on the Steering Committee for Ad 2 DC, a non-profit organization of advertising professionals ages 32 and younger.

Before joining the Borenstein Group, Mr. Jones successfully took numerous ideas from concept to execution including the award winning “Great Model Search” campaign for Johnson Products Inc. He is also responsible for the establishment of an award winning in-house design department, which resulted in winning a gold Hermes award for in-house collateral. Mr. Jones has worked on creative for a broad range of high-profile national and international brands including Dunkin’ Donuts®, Hungry Howie’s Pizza®, Midas®, Eaton Cutler-Hammer, Johnson Products inc., and United States Census 2010. Mr. Jones earned his Bachelor of Science degree in graphic design from the art institute of Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh, PA.
Ms. Taryn Johnson, Brand Archaeologist, has over a decade of experience in the field of graphic design. She has created various design materials including logos, brochures, tradeshow displays, web sites, direct mail, corporate identity, packaging and print ads. She has a passion for design and branding, and her hard work is a direct reflection of this passion.

Ms. Johnson has won numerous awards including Hermes, Marcom, and Stevie Awards. Ms. Johnson is responsible for overseeing that all creative is cohesive and on target. She is directly involved in creating original concepts for each project, working closely with the client, copywriting, creative and account service departments to tailor each design for maximum impact. Before coming to the Borenstein Group, Ms. Johnson worked on projects for numerous high-profile clients. Select clients include The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, Federal Highway Administration, EPA, DOL, Brady Center to Prevent Gun Violence, Southeastern University and the USDA Forest Service to name a few. Ms. Johnson has earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Graphic Design and a minor in Business Administration from the University of Florida in Gainesville, FL.
CONNIE H. HUTCHINSON
Ms. Connie Hutchinson is the Chemical Mixologist and driving force that keeps Borenstein Group running smoothly behind the creative scenes. Connie oversees Contract Administration, Finance and Human Resources. Not only has she played a critical role at our agency over the last three years, but she also dedicated much of her time in service of her hometown of Herndon, VA, recently concluding her seventh elected term on the Herndon Town Council as the Town’s Vice Mayor.

Prior to her position with The Borenstein Group, Ms. Hutchinson had been Executive Director of the Herndon Dulles Visitor’s Center and previously served as the Communications Manager for the Herndon Dulles Chamber of Commerce. She is currently Vice President of the Dulles Area Transportation Association’s Board of Directors, and has served on the board since 2008. Connie serves as Treasurer of the Herndon Hospitality Association, and Co-Chairman of its popular free outdoor summer concert series ‘JamBrew’ which features local songwriters and musicians performing original music. She continues to serve on the Holiday Homes Tour of Herndon committee, which she led as Chairman from 2010-2012.
Ms. Kimberly Dombrowski, Account Manageaplanologist, keeps people and projects running at peak performance. As an account executive at Borenstein Group, Kimberly manages client projects from start to finish, effectively planning timelines, ensuring flawless delivery and building strong relationships as a liaison between clients and the creative team.

Kimberly is a recent graduate from Duquesne University’s Integrated Marketing Communications program where she gained progressive experience in account management. She excelled in multiple internships in B2B and B2C marketing disciplines, ultimately making her mark supporting global pharmaceutical brands at a nationally recognized advertising agency.
Originally from New Jersey, Kimberly grew up on the Jersey Shore. She cultivated hands-on leadership experience as President of the Greek Honor Society and served on her sorority’s executive board in college. Through this work, Kimberly gained valuable networking, communication, event planning and time management skills. As a lifelong learner, Kimberly is intensely enthusiastic about continuing her education and developing career. She is also addicted to Pinterest and plans to try all the food and travel to all the places she has pinned one day.
Mr. Aaron Wachsstock is our Digital Psychologist. With a passion for understanding the world around him, Aaron applies cutting-edge technical expertise along with a creative perspective to amplify each brand’s online impact. Aaron is a Google AdWords Certified Professional, and manages Google AdWords PPC campaigns as well as SEO/SEM development to provide Borenstein clients with measurable return on investment from their digital marketing initiatives.

As Digital Content Specialist, Aaron helps brands communicate more effectively online. He combines a technical focus on metrics and analytics along with creative writing expertise to develop content marketing that resonates with vertical B2B audiences.
Aaron is a recent graduate from the Virginia Commonwealth University, where he received his Bachelors of Interdisciplinary Studies, focusing on advertising, business and psychology. He also grew up down the road in Fairfax, VA and has played ice hockey for the past 16 years. You can still find him on the ice, playing goalie for multiple adult league teams in the area.
Originally from Chaska, Minnesota, Mr. Andrew Cleary, our Edit Specialologist, grew up skiing and playing hockey to stay warm in the winter. To this day, Andrew enjoys skiing. Eventually, he escaped the snow to study Business Management with a marketing emphasis and Political Science at Biola University in Los Angeles, where he also played lacrosse.

Miss Sears, our Digital Marketingologist , hails from Alexandria, Virginia. She currently majors in Art with a concentration in Graphic Design at Longwood University. She loves running and reading. Alexa is also an active healthy living blogger.
